The tools will be adapted to what the client wants. To diagnose strategy and governance, tools based on EFQM, Baldridge, or similar references, can be used. The model displayed in method is an example of this. These tools will help to understand how strategic goals, constraints, and risks are translated into planning and tasking. They will also indicate if adequate processes support mission and objectives, and to what extent leadership, accountability, communication and innovation lead to quality performance. In a nutshell it will allow x-raying the governance adopted in your enterprise.
The way tasking and objectives are turned into output and results and how the outcome of this process is evaluated and corrected will be diagnosed in accordance with Deming’s teachings (see model pictured below). This will allow to get an idea of the health of the major core processes of the enterprise and allow corrective action. This part is the curative health care that can cure anomalies and inefficiencies.
